Celebrating 100 episodes of Ranked!

Almost 4 years ago there was an idea. An idea of Tuong uniting three other guests to bicker, banter, and passionately put together arbitrary Top 5 lists of anything and everything. Over the last few years we have ranked everything from Sandwich Toppings, to TV Theme Songs, to a variety of Fictional Animals. But for the 100th episode, we knew we had to go above and beyond to make a list that TRULY does not matter that also honours the legacy of all Ranked episodes (so far).

So join us as Tuong La and the A-Team Angus MacDonald, Samantha Leggatt, and Leslie Cserepy look back on all of the winners of each Top 5 list we have ever done, pit them together in a battle royale of which #1 was the best, and record a marathon episode where we rank and order ONE HUNDRED EPISODES in Ranked’s 100th Episode Spectacular!

Ground Rules

• All nominations are the #1 pick of every Ranked episode so far from 1-99
• We will be ranking these based on how well they stack up to the rest of the other winners in their respective categories and the ground rules we established in those episodes
• We will also be ranking based on how well these nominations hold up. Some lists admittedly do not hold up very well in the year 2020.
• Was the #1 nomination boring in it’s category or is it the obvious choice because it’s a “classic”? Does it most fit the “spirit” of the episode?
• We should not be bringing up nominations outside of the Top 5 established in that episode (ie we are not bringing in honourable mentions into the conversation. This episode is long enough as it is!)

Arbitrary Rules just for fun

• The 69th slot goes to the “sexiest” nomination
• The 66th slot goes to the “spookiest” nomination
• The 100th slot goes to whatever makes our #1. Ie: whatever #1 ends up being is automatically #100 on our list
• The 33th slot is the one most like Jesus
