Over a year ago the Dummies ranked Top 5 Disney Animated Feature Films in a special CROSSOVER episode after spending a few years discussing and catching up to all of the Disney movies. It is another CROSSOVER special in today’s episode of Ranked! If you don’t already know the Disney Dummies went on a mission to watch every single Disney Animated Feature in chronological order, discuss them at length, argue about the merits of the movie, shared fun facts, talked about which characters had f*ck energy, and so much more. They eventually caught up and are still on the Disney Train, but needed a second challenge. That challenge was Pixar and so Disney Dummies x Pixar Pals was born and the cycle started again! The Pixar Pals are following the current of a curious young sea monster who’s about to learn a thing or two about wanting to be where the people are – as well as where the pasta, Vespas, and gelato can be found – while a village is turned upside down forever as Luca lands on, well, land, and discovers what it means to accept and be accepted for exactly who you are. It’s a heartwarming tale that’s cold blooded – in the best way.

In a world of dungeons, dragons, and classic teenage high school drama, it’s tough being an elf who just wants to fit in – and as the Pals will learn in Onward, overenthusiastic older brothers don’t exactly make things any easier. But while it can take a lot of imagination to get past a sibling’s seemingly embarrassing hobbies or odd quirks to embrace them for who they are, in the end, their own extraordinary imagination might turn out to be the best thing about them.
