This week on Talkin’ Tuong, join Tuong and Quest Friend Forever/Heroes Don’t Do Paperwork’s/Thanos-Wannabe Angus MacDonald, as they examine the series of misfortunes of criminals being stuck in a house of even worse criminals while chatting about 2019’s horror comedy – Villains (now streaming on Amazon Prime).
Angus arrives at work to find that Sal isn’t at his desk? What kind of trouble could Sal be getting up to? Angus calls him and finds out he’s on a special assignment.
We made it to 2020!
A brand new decade of PodCavern is here and the gang is prepared for yet another year of Top 5 Lists! But before we can properly ring in the new year, as per every year, we must give some love to video games. At the outset, it seemed like 2019 would be an underwhelming year for games as the world prepares for a new generation of consoles in 2020. Turns out we were delightfully wrong! 2019 not only had some wild gaming moments but it also gave us meaningful free-to-play/subscription serviced games, expansions that felt like full games, and remakes of games that were built from the ground up that went above and beyond. So join Tuong La and Game Guru’s Matthew Whalley, Angus MacDonald, and Ethan Howieson as they celebrate the best games of 2019!
To cap off the decade in the PodCavern, Tuong takes Talkin’ Tuong to a Galaxy Far Far Away (Ottawa) and gets talkin’ about ALL things Star Wars with Master Samantha Leggatt from the Jedi Council and Darth Angus MacDonald the Sith Emperor! We also had a certain Force Ghost call in to make an appearance…tune in to find out!
While building some new office equipment Angus and Sal are interrupted by one of Super City’s Dark Protectors. The power dynamic shifts as it becomes unclear who is the one asking the questions.
On this episode of The Improv Punch Up Tuong La is back! Alas, when the boys are about to record their no doubt hilarious episode, the podcast feed is interrupted and hijacked by the Punch Up of the FUTURE! Instead of Leslie, Angus and Tuong listen as Skywalker Cserepy, Bloodflap and Tuong La Punch Up disastrous movies while they wait for the Sun to explode!
This week on The Improv Punch Up we have no guests so you know what that means…it’s time for a weird gimmick episode! This time the boys read a short story written by our very own Leslie Cserepy. In this version the boys tell the story of the brave Captain Thundercock and his crew as they land on Mars and are accosted by a strange and terrible creature. This story has more heart and shit than you’d expect!
Wait a sec…haven’t we done this episode already?
All the way hidden in the shadowy depths of the PodCavern, there was an episode that was sealed away due to it’s over-complicated ground rules that ultimately created a list which did not represent the original spirit of the topic! This week we finally release that episode from it’s year long shackles and bring you Top 5 Fictional Worlds to live In PREDUX featuring your host Tuong La and the A-Team Leslie Cserepy, Angus MacDonald, and Samantha Leggatt!
This week on The Improv Punch up we are joined by the Kinetic Krystal Merrells! On this episode, the kids on the magic school bus learn a grave lesson on Pluto, we tune in to a live special edition of Ontario Today to solve people’s problems, and we find the ultimate match for a one inch punch: a bouncy castle!
On this week’s Punch Up there’s no guest!? That’s right there’s no one joining Leslie and Angus in the PodCavern so they can relax and let their hair down. This week we see Mario and Luigi seek to find who put kale in their fridge, Georgie goes back for his boat (keen eared listeners might hear some kind of easter egg) and The Hardy Boys quit solving mysteries and live a normal life.
