PodCavern’s Spookening continues with Week 3!

This week on Talkin’ Tuong, The Queen of Spookstober herself – Kristine Shadid – casts a spell on all of us as we get talkin’ about 1993’s Halloween Classic….Hocus Pocus!

Come on down to Camp Crystal Lake where we haven’t had a single camper die for weeks!

For a fun throwback we’ll be checking out some old reels from the 1980/2009 seasons! Watch as the counselors enjoy various camp amenities such as track and field, archery and ax throwing. (Pay attention, because there just might be a cameo from every camper’s favorite former cook: Mrs. Voorhees!) If movies aren’t your thing, you can always go for a nature run with former camper/current groundskeeper Jason!

PodCavern’s Spookening Begins!

We are doing a whole month of spooky-themed movies for this month’s episodes of Talkin’ Tuong! So join Tuong La and Half Ghost-Half Werewolf Kyle Jones, as we watch Martin Freeman take on Zombies (and an Australian accent) in 2017’s Cargo (now streaming on Netflix!).

Are you a fan of the Resident Evil games and awesome movies!? If you answered ‘Yes’ to either, this might not be franchise for you. Taylor and Steph are locked-and-loaded to make their way through Paul W. S. Anderson’s horror/sci-fi/action FILMS! Grab some popcorn for the nu-metal nightmare that is Resident Evil (2002) and throw out the continuity for the series conclusion Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016). Find out how things went so off the rails for Alice, the Umbrella Corps. and the fans(?) of this series.

Time to nut up or shut up because we got a Spooktastic 👻 October edition of Talkin’ Tuong for you w/ special guest Jesse Anderson!

Listen as we put on some clown make up and chat about Joker🤡, escape from our meth-filled past as we gush about El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie🚗, and blow out the brains of the undead while talking about Zombieland: Double Tap.🧟‍♂️

BRAAAAAIINNSS!
Zombies aka The Living Dead aka Biters aka Creepers aka (a thousand other ghoulish names) has permeated mainstream culture in a big way for decades, especially when George A. Romero launched his vision of what we perceive as the “modern zombie” today. Whether it’s your slow shuffling zombie to your horrifyingly fast flesh eating zombie, there has been a number of different haunted takes throughout all types of fiction and mediums. On this year’s Spookifying Halloween special of Ranked, join Tuong La and Undead Creepers Angus MacDonald. Samantha Leggatt, and Taylor Fleming as they celebrate these pop-culture monsters, eat the brains of the living, and come up with the Top 5 Things Featuring Zombies.
