The appeal of these types of films have really exploded in recent years and the technology of bringing in lost footage or remastering old footage has only gotten better, which has only improved the art form. They can also give the audience a fresh perspective on behind the scenes events of everyday life and make someone an expert on really niche topics (for like a week)! Ground Rules

• We are only doing documentary films this episode so docu-series is not allowed
• There are some “films” out there that can be considered “series”/vice-versa. In these niche instances, we will hear out the argument but ultimately the nomination has to be more or less received as a “film” to the general public
• If this film is part of a series, then you are still only nominating a singular film in that series.
