Ranking Super Powers is our Endgame.

Today we are celebrating 11 years of the MCU and superhero pop culture by giving our take on an aged old question: “What are the best super powers?”. Face it, even the most jaded comic book sneerer wishes they can get up and fly out of bed,  transform into a fire breathing lizard, or shoot lasers out of their eyes! This week join Tuong La and New Mutants Justin Godelie, Dan Foerster, and Angus MacDonald as they put on the Infinity Gauntlet and materialize their take on the Top 5 best super powers!

If you want to continue to support the PodCavern and are buying off Amazon for any reason, click on our affiliate link HERE! It doesn’t cost you any money and it’s a way of showing extra love to us as we get a small percentage of the cut 🙂

Ground Rules

  • You can’t choose a character and get all their powers
  • It’s the result not the the means that define the power (ie. Green lantern’s ring is the means and the hard light constructs are the result)
  • Gadgets and tech do not count (ie Batman’s utility belt)
  • Can’t be a made up super power
  • Nominating under the impression that our bodies can handle the super power
  • The Force does not count or entities don’t count (ie phoenix force, symbiote)
  • No universe shattering powers count

*Spoilers* Below is our Top 5 list from this episode as well as our own personal unordered  lists. More detailed descriptions of the caveats with each power are discussed in the episode.

Let’s bring you back to the good ol’ days.

Remember when Saturday Mornings were the best time of the week? What better way to start the weekend than to wake up in your jammies, eat your favorite sugary cereal, turn on your oversized CRT TV’s, and binge watch cartoons for hours on end. It was truly a wondrous era that swept North American pop culture for years on end which has sadly vanished in this day in age. So hop in our time machine as Tuong La and Nostalgic Cartoon Lovers Axandre Lemours, Alli Harris, and Catherine Ballachey take you back to the glory days of being a kid and rank the Top 5 best Saturday Morning Cartoons!

If you want to continue to support the PodCavern and are buying off Amazon for any reason, click on our affiliate link HERE! It doesn’t cost you any money and it’s a way of showing extra love to us as we get a small percentage of the cut 🙂

Ground Rules

  • Shows could air on weekdays but people have to have a connection with watching that show on Saturday Mornings primarily
  • Due to the age of this group, the shows we will be discussing will be primarily from the 90’s and 2000’s
  • Cartoons nominated are more catered for children and less “adult swim” type of cartoonsTuon
