Ground Rules

• Some flavours that are “weird” to us might be normal to some. Therefore for the purposes of this ranking, “weird chip flavours” are flavours that are out of the ordinary and unconventional for those who live in Ontario, Canada.
• The chip just has to be weird to be entered for nomination. The ranking is then based on taste.
• However, if the chip really goes for something new and exciting in it’s flavouring it gets extra points.
• Homemade weird flavoured chips totally count if you put in the work to make it. (Simone did and she’s awesome for it)
• To be honest, we didn’t sample 99% of these chip flavours before submitting them for nomination. So essentially we bought a ton of chips and live sampled for the first time on the podcast and then ranked the best ones based on that.
• Variety bags (ie Munchies) do not count as a whole nomination as it’s just a bag with a bunch of different chips in it
• Is popcorn a chip? NO!
• Are Pretzels a chip? NO!
• Are Chocolate Chips a chip? Why would you ask this? NO!
• Are Cheetos/Cheesies a chip? NO!
• No dip! We want these nominations to stand on their own.
