But as we follow our hero Lewis through time and space along with his guide and new friend Wilbur Robinson, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion (or at least, some of us do) that Wilbur might know more about Lewis than he’s letting on…

In a stroke of genius, the series strips the haunted house story to its core and makes it relatable.  Everybody knows the feeling of hearing footsteps at night, or maybe seeing some lights flickering, or portals that transport you to the early 1990s– wait, what? The Paranormal Activity series starts firmly planted on a tripod but quickly eschews that for secret covens and time travelling camcorders. Yep.
