Way before Tom Cruise got his tiny hands on this beloved franchise for the Dark Universe (remember the Dark universe?), there was the movie that made Brendan Fraser into an adventurous treasure hunting heart throb…
This week’s episode >>> The Emoji Movie.
Emoji’s have been around for over the last 20 years and have been on a steady incline of popularity. These electronic/digital ideograms have completely taken over how we speak to each other in the modern era and inject a sense of personality and emotion into our messages that normal words cannot do as seamlessly. So this week join Tuong La and Living Emoticons Victoria Lulloff , Kristine Shadid, and Amanda Parker as they communicate and translate their feelings digitally to make a Top 5 Emojis list!
Comb back your mullets and perms because this week we are going back to the 80’s!
In many ways, the 80’s were a much simpler time. A time where fashion was colorfully neon and bold, where people loved to actually go out to the movies and go dancing, and a time where random slang words were ‘gnarly’ and ‘hella’ plentiful. Music was particularly ‘bitchin’ during this time because it gave rise to some of the best karaoke songs and, not to mention, music videos that has ever existed. From whiny guitars to synth drums to dancing in a skin-tight outfit while dramatically belting out lyrics that put today’s songs to shame – 80’s music had it it all. This week join Tuong La and Tubular guests Axandre Lemours, Victoria Luloff, and Colleen Wang as they ‘totally’ come up with a ‘rad’ Top 5 80’s Songs List!
This time on The Improv Punch Up we decided to show you the fans a peek behind the curtain! When we have a guest on we usually do a practice scene or “Practice Punch Up” to get the creative juices flowing. We tell the guests these won’t appear on the podcast but guess what…we lied! Because they are just too fun to keep locked away. Is this a shameless attempt to scrape together another episode or an inspiring look at our guests before the episode has begun? You decide!
On this episode of The Improv Punch Up we have the Virtuous Victoria Luloff! This week we see a classic Mentos commercial getting updated with a body horror twist, Mrs Bix ditches Elvis to solve a murder from the 1969 classic “The Trouble with Girls”, some teens confront a “sheriff” in disguise, and through that we address some PRESSING RUMOURS you may have heard about our podcast.
Merry Chris-list to All!
Inspired by last year’s Top 5 Ryans episode, the gang at Ranked decided to finally tackle the hottest question the universe has been asking: “Who is the Best Chris?”. Now the fine folks of the PodCavern did not want to provide you with your typical internet Chris List (because BORING), so we put on a fun twist that cracks open the “Doorway of Chrises” that is sure to stir the pot. This week join Tuong La and Chris-tal Clear Rankers Kristine Shadid, Victoria Luloff, and Marc Quintaneiro as they go off the rails and rank a not-so-typical Top 5 Chrises List!
